MISSION
Our foremost mission is to support the citizens of Marion County before, during and after an emergency.
PRIORITIES
Our priorities are 1) Saving Lives; 2) Incident Stabilization; 3) Protection of Property; 4) Recovery.
Marion County EMA is responsible for providing timely and accurate information to our local elected officials, state level EMA, and the public. The agency manages the flow of local/state/federal/private resources and services into incidents in Marion County.
Goals
Our goal is to build a strong and resilient community through the four phases of Emergency Management; Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.
